Code Scanner Now Detects Exposed Secrets — Storyfier July 2019 Release Notes

In July’s edition of Storyfier Release Notes, we present the newest feature available for our Code Scanner customers, more customization options on Storyfier, and our new blog interface.

Secrets Detection

Secrets Detection Horangi Code Scanner

New to Storyfier is Secrets Detection support. Our Code Scanners can now sniff out any exposed secrets and credentials in your code repositories so you can take them out before attackers can sniff the secrets from you.

Subscriptions Page

The new Subscriptions page shows your organization’s current and past subscriptions to our products. Go to Org Settings, then select Subscriptions to know more.

Set Your Primary Organization

You can now also set your Primary Organization in Storyfier. The Primary Organization is the first org you see whenever you log into the platform.

Enhanced Activity Log

Need to see what’s been happening in your security? The Activity Log now tracks all your Storyfier activities, mapped to the date and time each event happened.

Email Notification Settings

This release, you can now configure your email notifications for your organization. Go to your Personal Settings page, then go to Notifications to get started.

Slack Channel Configuration

It’s now possible to configure your Slack channels. You can now name the channel Storyfier creates with the channel name of your choosing.

Not only that, if you want to make your Storyfier notifications private, this is now possible. Switch the Private Channel option, and Storyfier will create a new private channel for you.

Redesigned Blog

In case you haven’t noticed, our blog has been given a fresh new look in its new home. We will be adding more features and fresh content, so keep a lookout!
