The Singapore Cybersecurity Consortium was created to support engagements between industry and academia. Hosted to encourage use-inspired research, translation, training, and technology awareness in cyber security community,the Consortium was funded by the National Research Foundation (NRF) and anchored at the National University of Singapore (NUS) since 1st September 2016.
The Camp featured a Research Forum to showcase developments at the intersection of Deep Learning and Security. Students, researchers, and practitioners were invited to submit short research talks. In addition, guest speakers were invited from various notable corporations such as UnifyID, Google, and Baidu to present on their research work on integrating Deep Learning into conventional cyber security practices.
Horangi was invited as an honorable participant for the Two Day Camp, and to engage in the various presentations. Horangi team members were very impressed by the expertise of young talented researchers on integrating Deep Learning elements into security analytics, and many other associated topics. It was such a great opportunity to attend this forum, and very exciting to experience their passion and knowledge within this field.
