We’re excited to introduce to you a new series called Release Notes, where we’ll highlight all the improvements we’ve launched every month, so you can easily stay up-to-date on what’s new.

The Horangi product engineering team has been working hard to push out new features, improvements and bug fixes for the past few months. Let’s take a look at what we’ve launched this April.

Horangi Warden

Artboard – 3@2x

First thing on the list is the release of our newest product: Horangi Warden, a cloud security assessment & monitoring tool that detects misconfiguration and vulnerabilities in your cloud infrastructure. With more and more systems and assets residing in the cloud, it is now critical to detect any vulnerabilities and malicious changes in the cloud.

What can Warden do?

  • Identify misconfiguration & vulnerabilities in an ever-changing cloud environment
  • Provide visibility into the state of your cloud and identify security risks and track those issues in your preferred issue tracker of choice: Gitlab, Bitbucket, Github and Jira

There are many more things to talk about on this exciting new product, but we can’t fit all of them in a single section, so stay tuned for a special post that’s coming soon!

Grouped Findings in Detect

Artboard – 4@2x

We listened to your feedback and gone are the days where you have to read through findings one-by-one in the Detect page. With findings now aggregated into groups of the same kind, you can spend less time reading and more time getting things done.

Grouped Issue Export

Issue Export

Speaking of Getting Things Done, multiple findings can now be exported to a single Github/Bitbucket/Gitlab/JIRA issue. You can expect streamlined developer workflows and faster fixes ahead.

Brand new Overview

Artboard – 5@2x

New to storyfier is the Overview page, a high level glance of what’s happening in your organization, all in one place. There is no need to dig through menus now for a snapshot of your organization.

Introducing Scan Groups

Artboard – 6@2x

With this update, scans can now be grouped and labeled according to your needs. It’s now much easier to manage your scans with a single schedule, thereby saving you time.

Daily Scans

Artboard – 7@2x

Daily scans are now supported in Storyfier for all scanners. Now expect increased security coverage while tigers go for the hunt everyday.

Ad-hoc Scans

Ad-hoc Scans

Many of our users have requested the ability to manually trigger a scan. We hear you. Now, there’s no need to wait to start scanning, just click “Scan Now”!

Auto Tagging in Findings

Artboard – 8@2x

Findings are now auto-tagged, thus bringing in much richer context to scan results. We’re working hard to bring you the ability to search and filter these tags in the up-coming releases.

Code Scanner: Who’s Who?

Artboard – 9@2x

Code Scanner can now show you who wrote the offending code. This allows you to identify the right person to assign the exported issue to fix that code.

That rounds up what’s new for April. Want to give it a try? Register for a trial here.

See you next month for more new things we have in store for you!
